Pictures Finally!

I have finally gotten my pictures off of my camera to use! I decided to put a few on here, even though some may be from a few months back.

I cannot help but to fall out laughing looking at these two pictures...Brooks' face says it all!
It's like I can hear him thinking "You better GET back!"

...then "Girrrl I AM NOT playing!"

Loved seeing these two "working hard." Brooks thinks everything his daddy does is the most amazing thing, and of course he has to do it too!

We took the kids to try to fish one day, but ended up just playing on a playground instead...not even a bite the entire time. Oh well, they had much more fun on the playground!

They both love to play outside, but it often turns into a mess. Brooks will usually have a melt down when his toys won't cooperate with him! And Audrey just stays in her own little world of fantasy and fairy tales!

Never a missed moment to strike a pose!

It's just about to happen...he's getting stuck while trying to climb out on the wrong side, you can see it all over his face!!

And here it is...the complete meltdown!! Stupid Car!!

And then...it all stops when daddy gets home! It always makes me smile when they take off running and screaming for him! It's like he literally gets attacked!! They truly have the sweetest daddy on the Earth!

Waiting....

Brooks instantly transforms into a tree frog...

.... Audrey getting her love too!

Little Things....

Wednesday evening as Audrey, Brooks, and myself were all in the shower together...as we often do to avoid the insanity of the bathtub with them two...I tried to spark a conversation with Audrey, seeing that her and Brooks were getting on each others last nerve!

Lately, I have been asking her: "What am I gonna do when you turn 5?! Are you even gonna want your mommy loving on you since you'll be all grown up?!" Of course, she always has something clever to say, usually something that involves rolling her eyes or flipping her hand out. Anyway, I had called her by one of her pet names (my little one, my sweet baby, etc...) which in turn made me want to ask her again: "Audrey, when you turn 5, are you still gonna be my little girl?!"

Her answer was, and with somewhat of an attitude: "Mom, when you get old and go to Heaven, and when I get old and go to Heaven, and when daddy gets old and goes to Heaven, and when Brooks gets old and goes to Heaven, I'll still be your little girl, and you can still call me 'my sweet baby' or 'little one'".

Well THAT was unexpected, yet almost brought a tear! It never fails, when you're expecting a funny, smart ellic answer, you get the sweetest, most innocent answer ever. Needless to say for the rest of the night, she was my little buddy, and could do no wrong!

Thank you Lord for my little ones!!

Sharing our life...

Life is too short and sweet to keep it all to yourself....so I thought I'd share a little of our world! We live a crazy, hectic, funny, stressful, and ALWAYS entertaining life...and wouldn't have it any other way!

Our daughter, Audrey, or rather, "Miss Priss," never fails to keep us going...whether it's by her dancing, singing, "rocking out," or just with the things that come out of that little mouth!! Every day there is something new to laugh about with her! Her take on this world is so interesting to me. I'm sure that us adding to her fantasy world doesn't help, but it sure is fun to run with her stories and ideas and see where they may lead us!

Brooks, on the other hand, is what I would call "The Quiet Busybody." Never never never is he sitting still, and usually that's not a good thing! Usually we can listen and tell what the kids are up too, but not with him...he has learned that in order to do what he wants for how long he wants, he MUST be quiet!! Let Audrey do the talking and noise-making, he'll do the snooping! Examples: playing in mommy's jewelry drawer, daddy's hunting stuff, all the things in the bathroom drawers, the junk in the closet that has sat in a box for a year for a reason, and of course, the "off-limits" Audrey's room!

As for Greg and I...we just try to keep up!! There's so many times that we stop, look at each other, shake our heads, and just laugh. That's usually to keep us from crying or screaming! If someone would have told me years ago that I would get married to Greg, I would have told them "yeah right, I'm not that lucky!" Then, if someone would have told me that we would jump into starting a family so soon after getting married, I would have told them "No Indeed!!" THEN, after having TWO little ones, if someone would have told me that we would throw another little one into the craziness that has become our lifestyle........well let me just say that I almost passed out and threw up all at the same time....FOR MONTHS!! Now that we are better....we are scared to death of having a third baby, but at the same time, so curious to see what she will bring to the table!!

Lord, I know you are getting the biggest laugh out of us and all the "planning" that we have tried to do!! Thank you soooooo very much for what you have blessed us with!!
